Indochine House x Royal Salute
The "Art Reverie" event, scheduled for June 22, 2024, is a collaboration between Indochine House - an art exhibition space - and Royal Salute - a renowned blended Scotch whisky brand honoring the British royal family, founded in Speyside in 1953. “Art Reverie” embodies an artistic dream where cultural imprints are showcased through remarkable artworks.
At the event, Indochine House presents a curated collection of contemporary paintings by prominent Vietnamese artists such as Ca Le Thang, Le Vuong, Nguyen Hong Duc, Doan Xuan Tang, Nguyen Tho Hieu, Doan Van Toi, and sculptor Vu Binh Minh, alongside rare artifacts from East Asian culture. Particularly notable is the exclusive "soldier vases" pair from the Qianlong era (1736 - 1795), featuring exquisite phoenix motifs that dominate over half of their height. In Chinese culture, the phoenix is revered as the most noble of mythical creatures. The special feature of the jars lies in their exceptionally large size with lids, produced in extremely limited quantities, meticulously handcrafted, and flawless.
