Advent Season

“It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”

This is the inspiring praise in the song "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year", written by Edward Pola in 1963, celebrating warm gatherings with family and friends during Christmas. This expression of joy transcends religious boundaries and geographical distances, resonating with many Vietnamese people every Christmas season.

This year, drawing from the rich acculturation between East and West, where Arita and Imari ceramics have found their way onto the cozy mantelpieces of grand European residences every Christmas season, accompanied by the festive spirit of decorating homes with artistic creations and the heartfelt act of gifting, Indochine House proudly presents the exhibition "Advent Season: Art Inspiration for Christmas". This art showcase aims to convey a spirit of hope, peace, joy, and love to friends and families during this special occasion.

The exhibition “Advent Season: Art Inspiration for Christmas” features nearly 50 antique artifacts from Japan and over 60 contemporary paintings by Vietnamese artists, inviting all art-loving families and friends to join us in savoring mulled wine infused with orange and cinnamon, tasting freshly baked Yule logs, and enjoying Christmas music. Also, you are welcome to select unique decorative pieces for your homes and choose culturally rich gifts for friends. Those displayed artifacts are treasures that carry the value of heritage across time. And yes, it’s the happiest season of all.

Note: Advent is a season in the Christian calendar that marks the four weeks leading up to Christmas. It’s a time of preparation and anticipation for the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth, with each week symbolizing themes like hope, peace, joy, and love.
